Assembles and adjusts repaired electric motors to meet
specified ratings, using handtools and electrical meters: Claens
motor parts with gasoline. Repairs or replaces damaged parts and
assembles motor, uisng handtools.
Measures velocity, horsepower,
and current consumption of motor, uisng electrical meters and
mechanical testing devices. Adjusts mtoor to ratings specified
on motor nameplate. May ream and fit mootr bearings and grind,
turn, and polish parts, using machine tools, such as grinder and
lathe.
